Our Story
In 2014, Danielle Green founded Radically Curly with a vision to change the way textured hair is experienced in the beauty industry. After witnessing the lack of education, representation, and support for naturally curly hair, she set out to create a salon rooted in expertise, trust, and community.
Today, Radically Curly is more than a salon. We are a community, an educational resource, and a team of professionals dedicated to healthy hair, continuous learning, and building long-lasting relationships. We believe that trust is the foundation of feeling beautiful, and we are committed to creating a space where every client feels seen, heard, understood, and valued.

We are an employment-based, employee-first salon that offers unlimited earning potential through a performance-based commission structure designed to reward growth and excellence.
Our team is supported with premium professional color lines, a fully stocked back bar of products, and high-quality retail offerings. As a Hair Braiding Stylist at Radically Curly, I provided professional braiding services tailored to each client’s hair type, preferences, and styling needs. In the 7 years that I worked there, I specialized in creating neat, long-lasting braided styles while maintaining hair health and customer comfort. I helped clients achieve their desired looks and contributed to a positive salon experience. I will also add that working with the owner and other stylists was always a pleasure. Everyone contributes where needed and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Working at Radically Curly has given me a sense of pride in becoming a curl specialist. I have felt supported and encouraged. Our owner and founder, Danielle, is an amazing educator, consummate professional, and visionary. She takes pride in all she does and builds the Radically Curly Brand. Working for a salon that has a strong brand brings out my "A" game, so I work harder to be my best self and give my best work.
I feel Radically Curly helps me to stand out as a stylist because I have a whole new skill set. The clients who come here are, for the most part, kind and eager to have their hair done. They are equally educated in how to prep for their appointment and what to expect, and that helps to eliminate extra stress.
From the beginning, I have been booked and busy. I also love working with other stylists who are professional, skilled, supportive, and amazing, and most of all booked and busy! I can feel my growth and confidence since my first couple of months, and I love that, and I know there’s only more to come. We are supported through education, and whatever we need in terms of products is right there at our fingertips; overall, 10 out of 10. Oh, and the music and vibes are great!
Working at Radically Curly for the last 3 years has been a great learning experience and opportunity for growth. Being able to meet new people from different paths of life of all ages, and helping them learn how to work with their hair, is always so rewarding.
